Time Warp?!?!

Ok so this is all going way too quickly. What happened to March and April?!?! I cannot believe it's the 1st May ... I'm behind with everything! Yet it hasn't been due to idle hands and idle time.

Since the last post I've managed to pack up my rock n' roll life in Manhattan and relocate it to "the sticks". Ok really I'm talking about Westchester County.... 20 miles north of the city. But in reality it feels like worlds apart. I now live in a town house, with a garden, an actual chandelier hanging and my own car spot. Being in the middle of nowhere (or more specifically not walking distance to any train) I even managed to get my license and buy a car). Yep all in the month of April. I'm not even going to get into the ridiculous bureaucracy I was exposed to trying to get a license despite driving for [cough cough] 19 years. All I shall say on that process for now is..... Damn those DMV ladies are bloody scary. Between bubs kicking me in the bladder every couple of minutes and the nerves I almost left a mess in the car.

So I'm going to skip over life in suburbia for now.... I'm in a grump about the fact I can never get anything done easily out there.... so will leave the discussion for when I can say something positive about it :)

Will give an update on The Little Dragon. Damn bubs is growing big. TLD moves around no end. I have to confess.... some days it completely freaks me out and I wait for an Alien like scene as it tries to claw it's way out. Gross I know.... but hey... there's this living baby moving around in there.... it is a little strange. :)

We've also started the countdown to our visit back home to Australia. Only 8 more days and it's bad airline food and compression socks for me (had to promise to wear them to get Dr's ok). I can not wait to see all my family and friends back home.... it will not be a long enough trip but I'll take what I can get!  And on that note.... time to get back to stuff. But a more lengthy update is imminent.

xoxo

Ah! Moving from the city to the suburbs must have been crazy! But excellent work on getting the license and car. ;-) And yeah, the DMV is a scary, scary place. Haha.
